LukeWhat makes a shark...

Been back from Vegas for a couple of weeks. I stayed out there for a few days and played a bit in the Bellagio - I wanted to take a shot in Bobby's Room, but there was nothing going so i just played some 25/50.

There's a hand from the show with Timoshenko that will be all over the internet soon. All I'm saying is that if Ivey, Antonius or Durrrr did it, they'd be all over 'em on the forums saying they're the best in the world and all that, so when I do this and about five more of those moves - they'll know who is the best in the league.

Daniel Negreanu said after that he knew what was going on and that he almost went over the top, but he didn't - it's all well and good saying "I knew he was bluffing" and then folding - that doesn't make you a shark.

Negreanu did say on his twitter that I should've been in the NBC Heads-Up - next year I reckon... he said I made good TV too which is cool.

I still don't think Benyamine is a very good NL player but I think he played better than I thought he would. He was still a bit leaky but I guess it worked out for him. He's calling raises out of the small blind a lot and I think that's a leak, but he got away with it. It wasn't a profitable move because it was a strong field. JC Tran was the guy who impressed me the most, I had never played with him before the Premier League and I didn't know what to make of him but everyone told me he was good. In the first heat he owned me a bit in a pot, but I got back at him and owned him towards the end.

No-one really played exceptionally well apart from me and some people were a bit quiet. JC Tran's normal game is a very good game and he played well in the first heat but I don't know about the rest of the heats and I know Benyamine made a good move in the final against Phil Laak.

I've got a heads-up tournament in France next week which is going to be good - Devilfish is playing and so is Tony G - I'll let you know what goes down.
