Luke "Full Flush" Schwartz won the showpiece opening clash of the inaugural PKR Heads-Up Grand Slam against Yevgeniy Timoshenko in a day of shocks in London.

The online sensation from London squared off with the WPT and WCOOP winner in the first ever match of the ground-breaking new event, with 32 players battling it out for the $120,000 winner's cheque.

Full Flush advanced to the second round but a number of big names fell at the first hurdle at 3 Mills Studio. Tom "Durrrr" Dwan lost out to WSOP heads-up runner-up John Duthie while Ian Frazer saw off Norwegian whizz-kid Annette Obrestad. WSOP main event winner Peter Eastgate lost out to London EPT winner Vicky Coren, runner-up to Eastgate in the 2008 main event was Ivan Demidov and he lost to online qualifier Massimo Mele while Coren's Premier League Poker rival Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott beat John Tabatabai.
