The Poker Show returns Monday August 24 - 24/08/2009

The show will now be broadcast each Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening from 8 to 11 p.m. and joining Jesse May, Matt Broughton and Padraig Parkinson in the studio hot seat will be a variety of new guest presenters each Monday starting with Neil Channing on August 24.

Guests for the first three shows will include Card Player boss and November Niner Jeff Shulman who will discuss his controversial statements regarding the organisation of the World Series of Poker; the last female standing at this year's WSOP main event, Leo Margets; the UK's representative at the WSOP final table, James Akenhead; the first player to accept the Durrrr challenge, Sammy George; poker author and historian, Jim McManus; and interviews from leading pros at the Asian Poker Tour festival taking place in Macau.

Wednesday night will also see the return of the $250 added Poker Show Live bounty tournament on Boylepoker.com with $1,000 added once a month and over the course of the shows run there will be many chances to win a spot at Europe's largest poker tournament, the International Poker Open.

Paul Spillane, head of poker at Boylepoker.com, said, "This season will see many new and improved segments and features on The Poker Show. The weekly run now starts on Monday with regular guest presenters, there will be more structure making it easier for people to access the sections they want via podcast, and the big names will continue to drop in with exclusives and controversial conversations.

"Last season proved there was a market for the show, this season we plan to prove we are the best in that market, giving listeners the most up-to-the-minute news, views, and interviews from around the poker world."
