1307 players started day 3 of this year's main event with Phil Hellmuth right in the hunt for his 12th bracelet.

Hellmuth is also gunning for his second main event title and is sitting nicely on 490,000, with Jeremy Joseph the chip leader with 1,458,000. The Premier League poker star won his record breaking 11th bracelet at the 2007 WSOP and won his first main event in 1989.

Kara Scott - only one of a handful of women left - started the day with 84,000 chips and she quickly built her stack to over 200,000 which she has managed to maintain, ending day 3 with 230,000.

Another Matchroom Poker player Daly Hoy started day 3 as one of the short stacks and needed an early double up which he got. Holding A10 he and Player X were all in. Player X was holding 10 10. Dale managed to spike an Ace on the turn to double him up. He is now on 322,500 chips and is in good shape going into day 4.

Other notable players left are Jeff Kimber who has 665,000 chips, Hoyt Corkins who starred in the PartyPoker.net The Big Game II has 467,000 chips.

The bubble burst at 667 and there are 475 players remaining all guaranteed $27,020.
