First time player Jamie Foreman, who had been tutored the night before by reigning champion Ian Frazer won the first pot when he hit an 8 on the turn to make a straight and started to look comfortable at the table.

After 24 hands, Danielle Lloyd took control of the game with the chip lead with $142,000 in chips.  She then took a further stranglehold on the game when she knocked out Foreman when she paired her deuce on the turn. Five hands later the lively Brandon Block was knocked out by Leilani.  Brandon Block held 10, 5 and Leilani A, 2.  The board showed 7, 4, 2, Q, 4, giving Leilani two pair.

Danielle Lloyd then managed to lose the majority of her chips and was knocked out by Steve Davis.  Lloyd went all in pre flop with J, 7 and Steve called holding Q, 5.  The flop showed, J, 10, Q, The turn came down a Q leaving Danielle drawing dead, and when a 10 turned on the river it gave Steve the full house.

Hutton then won a huge pot off Davis to put him back to $100,000 chips and then doubled up again when he paired his 8 on the turn against Steve’s A, 10.Steve was now severely depleted and moved all in with 8, 9 and was called by Leilani who held A, J.  The board came down 9,8,10, 2, 5, putting Leilani heads up with Anthony Hutton.
