Kara Scott on form in WSOP Main Event
Kara Scott is going strong at the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas – getting through to the second day of the event.
The PartyPoker.com Sport Stars Challenge III winner and Women’s World Open finalist took part in Day 1c and is one of the 1,026 players from the 1,928 who started the day and going into Day Two, Kara has 111,000 chips.
Highlights for Kara including hitting quad fives on the river to cripple Justin Bonomo then later in the day picking up Aces to knock out another opponent who had AK as someone else on the table screamed: “She’s picked up Aces five times already today!”
“I’m happy to have had a good day one,” Kara told us. “But the WSOP is a long tournament and there is a long way to go.”
We will keep an eye on how Scott gets on as the tournament progresses.
