Neil Channing Takes Down Irish Crown
Neil "Bad Beat" Channing has captured the PaddyPoker Irish Open Crown and with it the €801,400 winners cheque, by far the biggest payday of his long poker career.
Channing, who has become famous for his gritty 20 hour performance at the Poker Den:The Big Game II, dominated the event from the get-go and went into the final table as a huge chip leader. Neil will be appearing on UK screens again soon in the $576,000 PartyPoker World Open IV as he takes on the likes of Mike Sexton, Ian Frazer, John Kalmar, Liam Flood, Barny Boatman, Marc Goodwin, Theo Jorgensen and defending Champ Anthony Hardy.
