Just sat in on Barny Boatman's pre-interview - the Hendon Mobster was chomping at the bit, and his ears pricked when he was told that Bodo will be at the table after the next eviction at 2pm - Barny caught him bluffing at the last Big Game but Bodo hit the river to suck out on Boatman... he wants revenge!

After trying to stay awake forever I had to give up!

But Jen Mason and Snoopy are doing the business on PartyPoker.com's excellent blog, with the game entering the last 24 hours.

Make sure you check out our gallery where there are over 90 pictures from the opening session at the Les A club in Mayfair.

Neil Channing and Viffer are still standing from the opening line-up, with Channing taking down a £68k pot against Viffer just after 8pm to see thde Judo-dressed Channing climb to over-£20k.

Big winners from the game so far include Jennifer Tilly, Laurence Grondin and Sam Trickett, with Luke Scwartz among those getting burned so far. But the Big Game is still young and with the likes of Tony G, Phil Laak and Roberto Romanello at the table, there's still time for plenty of twists and turns so keep checking back with us and keep on that PartyPoker.com blog.

With all manner of things going on off the table, it's been nigh on impossible to blog! The pics are coming along nicely though, and the PartyPoker.com blog is going great guns!

a few eyes are dropping already here... a ton of coffee has been served!

Over at the satellite table, they've just taken a break with what looks like 4/5 players left in the mix...

Satellites on the side... some familiar names out there hoping to get into the game - we'll keep you posted as to who is getting on well

Also - there are "evictions" every six hours - with players voting to get one player out of the game - Tony G is on the sidelines and could be the first player to get into the game

If you want some good hand coverage, make sure you have PartyPoker's blog up where Jen Mason has the best seat in the house - second hand was a biggie... Jen M described it thus: http://blog.partypoker.com/big-game-iv/partypoker-big-game-day-1-live-updates.html

Lights, Camera, ACTION! First two hands explode on to the table, prompting Bonomo to say, “I don’t know what’s going on here – the cameras have everyone acting crazy?!” All the initial action is in the hands of Viffer, Jennifer Tilly and Paul Marrow.

Let’s just say the first hand saw a very unconventional hand from Viffer taking on the more staid Big Slick of Paul Marrow, but even the eyebrow-raising first pot was just a warmup for hand #2. Marrow was again involved, with David ‘Viffer’ Peat re-raising with [KD] [9D] and picking up both Marrow (holding [3C] 5C) and a flat-calling Jennifer Tilly with [AS] [JH].

The flop: [6H] [4H] [KC]. Viffer bet £500, and Tilly made it £1,500! Flat from Marrow with the straight draw. Threeway to the turn: [AD]. Now Viffer bet a chunky £3k! Too much for Marrow, but Tilly made the call. The [5H] river was pretty interesting – Viffer quickly moved all-in, and now the pressure was on Tilly to call for her whole stack on the second hand of the game! A lot of consideration later, and she finally gave it up – shown the Nine for her troubles.

With her foot still on the gas, she picks up pocket Jacks the next hand, and this time yet again confronts David Peat, whose [AD] [KH] was by far the best hand he’s played so far, and one he was taking all the way to a preflop all-in. She made the call this time, and her race quickly became one-horse, as she flopped a third Jack and found Viffer drawing dead on the turn. Plenty of excitement ensued (I’m pretty sure I heard her shout, “GENIUS!” through the headphones of the commentators) and the game rolls on!

There's walk-on music in this one... oh yeah...

Jen came out first to Hall & Oates' Maneater - Dusty, Viffer and Full Flush to some pretty bad R n B... Channing chose The Smiths, Isaac had Green Day, Laurence with Gwen Stefani's If I Was A Rich Girl... surely after the WSOP she is!

What's everyone wearing? Well, Channing has a judo suit on... which should double up as a dressing gown should he get tired! Paul Marrow's suit is exquisite...

Jesse May: LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!! He's joined by Justin Bonomo in the commentary booth/kitchen... off they go
